1. Children Myopia Control

Myopia is progressive, irreversible and tend to progress the fastest among young children, it is important that we slow down the progression of myopia and thus reduce the risk of vision lost associated with high myopia.

There are now many contact lens and spectacle lens options to control myopia progression, this includes Orthokeratology, MiSight soft contact lenses and others.

2. Orthokeratology for Adults and Kids

This are like bracers for the eyes. This proven, non-invasive and fully reversible technique, uses hydraulic forces to shape the surface of the eyes, so that patients can see clearly in the morning without the need of contact lenses and glasses.

Many see this as a very good alternative to refractive surgery. These are the same lens used for children myopia control.

A pre-orthokeratology assessment is required to see if this is a suitable technique for the patient.

3. Complex Prescription

Patients with complex prescription may find it challenging to find suitable spectacles and contact lenses. If you have the following:

- High Myopia, those with -1300 degree and higher

- High Astigmatism, those with astigmatism of -250 degree and higher

- Above combined with Presbyopia (老花眼)) and want contact lenses and/or glasses

4. Presbyopic Contact Lenses

These are special lenses for patients with presbyopia (老花眼), these lenses enable them to see far and near objects, without the need to wear special spectacles.

There are different type of presbyopic contact lenses, including soft disposable contact lenses and rigid gas permeable lenses.

5. Post-Lasik Contact Lens fitting

These are for patients who have gone through refractive surgery, but may still require contact lenses to enhance their vision.

As post Refractive Surgery/ Lasik corneal is much flatter than normal cornea, thus normal contact lenses may not be suitable for them.

We require special contact lenses for these patients.

Many of these patients when fitted may experience better vision when compared to their glasses.

6. Keratoconus Contact Lenses

Keratoconus is a progressive eye condition that generally begins in late adolescence or early adulthood. It involves the cornea getting too thin and bulging into a cone-like shape.

This can cause distorted and blurry vision, as the light rays are no longer focused into your eyes the way they should be. It can cause nearsightedness and irregular astigmatism. In early cases, spectacle lenses and common contact lenses can correct their vision. In more advance cases, special contact lenses that are required for these patients to improve their vision.
